10mm eyepieces are high magnification eyepieces and are used for close-up planetary, moon and Solar observation. When you combine a 10mm eyepiece with a 2x barlow, the 10mm eyepiece will give you a magnification power of a 5mm eyepiece.
Each barrel is internally threaded to accept 1.25" filters. The built-in soft rubber eyeguards enhance viewing by helping to block out ambient light and properly position the eye.
